As the title says, this is a remake of an artwork made exactly two years ago. While I was happy with my first attempt at rendering at the time, I was bothered by the fact that I couldn't draw a minimally decent background at the time. Now, with advances in the study of composition and lighting, I finally painted a bg that I could look at with satisfaction.
This is also a test of what the remastered version of the VIVÁ comic will look like. Please tell me if you liked it.
Apuana and Vivá are resting on the branch of a tree called "Samaúma", here in Brazil also known as the "tree of life" or "mother of trees". This species can reach impressive heights, reaching over 60 meters in height and with a trunk diameter that can exceed 3 meters. The Sumaúma is a majestic tree and plays an important role in the Amazon rainforest ecosystem, providing shelter and food for several species of animals.
