It all started with a humble ceremony at a small chapel somewhere and neither of them had ever expected to have this day, he certainly never expected to fall in love with a Draver mare and she hadn't dared hope he would even propose to her since he had a human girlfriend at the time but life can take a strange turn sometimes. While the ceremony mainly observed human traditions there was one small detail from Draver tradition, namely a wooden ring instead of a gold wendding band which for Dravers symbolizes their connection to the land, although they had chosen to combine traditions there ans the wooden ring had a gold inlay to merge the two materials. Although his parents initially didn't agree with the interspecies wedding they eventually warmed up to their daughter-in-law and organized a second reception a few years later in order to "do things properly" with both sides of the family present.
