Will be posting a few more fanart highlights from the last year.
Honestly, I didn't expect to draw as much this year, due to having physical job, after which I kinda just face plant into the bed n' wait for better times. With news broke about this country no longer extending license to the only painkillers, that help me - I am running out of options. It's terrifying, because that will cause more downtime for me once my stock gets empty, when I can no longer just pop a pill and keep working.

But being into Hazbin Hotel fandom was one of few things, that kept my sanity going. I am hoping to redirect this energy towards personal lore and characters this year, I miss them so much and there is so many ideas to share, that I never got to!


But returning back to the artwork, I find it interesting to detach the characters from their common environment of the show and just be something standalone, a thing on its own, no longer restricted by the rules, or format, or artsyle, or theme of the original source. Like peeking behind a curtain and seeing something more personal behind it, but told on universal language nonetheless, the one, that can be understood by anyone, even those, who are unfamiliar with the characters. It's borderline not a fanart anymore.

As always, expressing something intimate led me to more sensual type of artwork, and I'm living for it.
