None of us deserved this gift of salvation that was paid for by the blood of Jesus, and yet, he loved us enough to give his life on the cross as the perfect sacrifice for the atonement of our sins. Jesus tells us in John 15:13 "Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends."
