Michelle is Such a Killjoy (2/4, STORY IN DESCRIPTION)
Been a while since I continued this one, but I finally have the bandwidth for wrapping up the rest. Here's Part 2 of a comic commish I got from
puca-puca of my OC Michelle going through a creepy and comical transformation into a laughter vampire (see: Extreme Ghostbusters). Her boyfriend Seth is helpless to save her on the other end of a video call as laughter takes hold of her in a terrifying way~ Enjoy and comments always welcome!
Michelle shuffled about dizzily, trying to regain her composure as “pop-goes-the-weasel” seemed to play louder and louder in her head. Her lazy and wide movements were enough for her phone to register some taps as her device rang up a video call.
*bulululululululululu* *bulululululululululu* *bung!*
“Hello? Michelle?” Seth began, his voice from the phone muffled between pocket and thigh meat.
The sound of her boyfriend’s voice anchored her for a moment. Unfortunately, it was all she could do to reach into her pocket and show herself on screen.
“Oh hey, Seth,” she groaned. “Sorry, did I butt-dial you?”
“Heh, your big butt must’ve missed me,” Seth joked. As he got a good look at Michelle, however, he started to notice some odd colors on her face. Her cheeks looked flushed with white, her lips had a smatter of pink on them, and a suspicious spot of red dotted her nose. “Babe? You alright? You look kinda pale. And… red around the mouth? Did you win another spicy wing contest?”
“Hehe, no, no… I think *ee-heeheehee!* I think it might be allergies…!”
“You have allergies? Since when?”
Michelle struggled to find any words as she pressed her hand to her head, trying to calm the noise in her head. That awful, evil, silly, hilarious, raucous noise. All the while, the colors on her face only started to deepen and spread, like different coats of paint smearing themselves across her face. Her eyes became decorated with a shade of green that was getting greener by the second.
Fear clutched at her heart for a moment. Michelle could feel that something dark and dangerous was taking hold of her. But despite the growing pit of terror in her stomach, she couldn’t keep her mouth from curling into a twisted and evil grin. And that fear started to contort into something all too laughable.
Her next guffaw came out in a snort. “Ahm ehehe uh… maybe I just need to wipe my face-ehehehehe…!”
Suddenly, Michelle reached into her cleavage and produced what appeared to be a white handkerchief with red polka dots on it.
“Um…” Seth cocked his head, growing more and more concerned at everything. “Babe, that can’t be a good place to store one of those.”
“Hehe, it’s fi-oh hahaha!” With one mighty tug, Michelle pulled out an entire tarp-sized polka dot cloth from her chest.
“You hid that in there!?” Seth exclaimed.
If Michelle could hear Seth anymore, she could no longer respond to him of her own volition. Her phone slipped from her hands and fell to the ground with a thud. It landed it such a way that Seth could still fully see Michelle, but he was helpless to stop whatever was about to happen to his girlfriend.
“Mmph! Mrfhehe…!” Michelle exclaimed as the sheet descended on her. The odd fabric was large enough to completely cover Michelle’s entire body, which was no small feat for any assemblage of fabric. It started to envelop her tightly, not like a blanket keeping a person warm but like a cocoon forcing its contents to metamorphose. Michelle tried to push back against the sheet, probing around for a hem that she could lift. But the sheet squeezed and constricted around her as if to weaken her resistance. Soon enough, her muffled cries were shifting into belly laughs.
“Hehehaha…! Haa hahahahahahahaha!!!”
“Michelle!” Seth yelled through his phone. “Are you alright? What’s going on!?”
*POOF*
The polka dot sheet inflated for just a moment before it finally went slack around Michelle’s body. A hand clutched at it from underneath and swung it off like lifting a curtain.
Seth couldn’t get a good look at what had happened to Michelle, but his camera view was met with a *SQUEAK* and a step as Michelle, or whatever she was now, turned away from the video call.
Her back was already toward the camera as she began walking away, a squeak accompanying every waddling step she made.
“Oh that’s bad,” Seth whimpered. “That’s very bad. Where’s Vausch or that trash panda’s number…?”
As Seth went to hang up the video call and summon his mystically-inclined friends, the last the he heard from Michelle was a creepy and hearty…
“Hue-hehehehe… hahahahahahahua!”
