Woo here we are, finished it finally. My first attempt at water cooling, its a shame I couldn't get some decent full blocks but anyway. Just got GPU only block and some copper ramsinks and the load temps have yet to go above 35C, pretty crazy seeing load temps were about 70 or so on air!

Mmn, the CPU is a core i7 920 at 4ghz and the ram 6gig of DDR3, they are a little older now but still run well,
The graphics cards are pretty new, they are 2 ATi 6950's that have been unlocked through a Bios mod to become 6970's. I have yet to tweak with clocking them even higher!

MAke sure you know what they can go to XD
Also my friend overclocked his I7...it hit 5.8GHz....He shat bricks dude...Thats an auto clock aswell. it could reach 6.0GHz if he wanted it to but he would need better cooling. So i think you could hit 5.2GHz -5.6GHz on your CPU. Videocards are retarded for overclocks...srsly, just get MSI afterburner and crank them. Just not all they way Obviously XD

This sounds similar to what I'm running. However, I can only get my CPU to clock to 3.45 ghz and I only have one graphics card: Nvidia GTX 570 (clocked to be equivalent -if not faster- than a 580.) Oh yeah, and mine is air cooled, everything stays fairly cool, never have had any sort of overheating problems. The fans are very quiet too.
(as for the CPU problem, it seems to be because of the revision model that I have, which is C0/C1. Apparently they aren't able to clock too high without running in to SOME sort of problem.)

this is my current tower, lots of space http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produ.....AF%20932%20amd
Would be a 6 core i7 but I may wait yet to see what the next generation of processors has to offer or if maybe even 8 cores sneak out? I will use the sane pump but get an identical one for the CPU loop. Though have the CPU loop red with red water and the graphics loop blue. Coooool!
