100 Theme Image Challenge #3: Light

...An Entity of Light, both fragile and extremely powerful, illuminates the darkness as it draws near. Its wings held close to its svelte figure without a flutter, yet remains aloof the ground. The face gazing into my own bored a brilliant light, emanating softness and yearning unknown. I hesitate not as I extended my Demontail encircling this being with its warmth embrace, coaxing it closer and watch as a hand reaches towards me. I spoke not a word as my own lifted to guide its touch to my breast, my other hand raised of its own accord and greeted by the settling of its head to my palm. Its ears slowly swiveled back low, seemingly content as its eyes soon laid closed...
I seriously love the way this image came out. I really enjoy the Full view appearance, most notably the look of both characters' faces. Can you really believe that this was originally a sketch done early last year, and was continued & finished within the last 2 months? There was some questioning that came up due to how his style evolved since the last time he touched the sketch, but it seems that it was nothing to be concerned about at all.
