January dusk with Cold winter turning suddenly warm;
from - 20 C jumping to warm +10 C for few days
or
from -4 F jump to warm +50 F for few days

Snow melting to slipery and thin ice surfaces on both lakes and roads

At the bottom right corner good kick almost sunk my foot throuth 5 cm / 2 inch ice on top of shore rock. Luckily it was thick enough to walk around in most spots. Just needed to avoid thin black ice
