An flying plane, but let's use our imagination for the sake of the good scene
January dusk with Cold winter turning suddenly warm;
from - 20 C jumping to warm +10 C for few days
or
from -4 F jump to warm +50 F for few days
Snow melting to slipery and reflective ice surfaces on both lakes and road - Luckily it was thick enough to walk around in most spots. Just needed to avoid thin black ice
