Nogitsune naturally tend to find their way to the most unquestionable parts of their host culture's society. You wouldn't question the inquisitor, nor would you dare risk angering the crown princess, so it's a nice safety net for them. Of course, this also means they tend to become rather eccentric, and take on the mannerisms of being untouchable, such as that high and mighty condescending laughter with pinkie raised, because she knows full well you can't do anything about it.
