Three friends napping during the daily eclipse! Well, Saiph is still napping. Sweat Pea couldn't sleep, and it looks like Ghost is waking up.

Sweet Pea (the rabbit)
They are aliens living on a habitable moon orbiting a gas giant, Saolei (pronounced sow-LAY). Their home moon is called "Homerock" or just "the moon" by its residents. The moon is tidally locked to the planet, so from one side, the gas giant is always in the sky, and from the opposite, it is never visible.
On the side of the moon facing the planet, there are daily solar eclipses which last about 1½ hours- shrouding the moon in darkness. People customarily have siesta at this time. A day on Homerock lasts 30 hours, so it's normal to need a nap!
