So a certain inauguration is happening tomorrow…
I wanted to make this because I feel, despite being very stressed and worried, that I want to put my best foot forward and stay strong.

It’s going to be hard the next 4 years, but we will stand strong during this storm and come out of this STRONGER. And that stormy hateful rain just rolls off the umbrella we carry and off the rain goes down into the drain. Of course things aren’t this simple, but the greatest weapon in the face of all this is not giving in and to continue being yourself.

So yeah, my messages in the wake of this is to not sanitize your culture/pride/yourself and be unapologetically you!
Another thing is to keep creating, learning, being in your community, try new things, make new friends, and don’t let anyone tell you otherwise.
Another thing is to not comply in advance (like all these corporations and washed up celebrities are doing) because that won’t save you.
Lastly: don’t look at so much news as it’s going to suck bad the next 2 weeks (I say this for myself because I keep checking it often x.x )

Stay safe. Be amazing. Lots of love to each and everyone who strives for a better future in the face of regression and fear. And know that the darkest of days shall pass soon enough.
