That's right, it's year of the snake so we need some cool snakes to properly celebrate it!
When bought, you're free to name, expand on lore, and change the character however you'd like. There's no rules for using them, other than maybe keeping me posted on what you do! Their codenames, going clockwise: Desperado, Tsuchinoko, Sea Snake, and Cobra.
