It is cool to see that this jousting thing really is all fun and games for her. The whole "defending the title/honor" thing is all just part of the fun and not simply a matter of personal pride. Now, there might have been some personal pride for Al, but I got the feeling that he likely wouldn't have been a sore loser had he lost (since he wasn't a gloating winner when he won).
Overall, this feels like what a healthy rivalry should look like.
