Are your works all physical paintings? they always look so beautiful, and with such lovely texture to the brushstrokes, so either you're painting these for real, or you're exceptionally good with texturing in a digital medium

Thank you so much <3, but no, it's digital media. For the past few months I've been studying various guides and practicing brushwork, found some amazing brushes, and visited a museum to observe paintings IRL, studying how brushstrokes are applied and what textures look like (cracks, canvas and etc). I rarely work in traditional media and haven't really found the time to scan some decent pieces, except for one pastel drawing. I'd love to create more physical artwork that matches the quality and storytelling of my digital work, but as I said sometimes before, the main obstacle for me at the moment is the cost of the tools

This is so stunning like fuck the execution alone is just impecciable it looks so oil on canvas to me I almost wasn’t sure if you not just did it on a rl canvas. The little details that went into this one like.. I mean I know you have a real unique style and techniques in your back pockes but ho boy do they shine here I am so amazed and wild for every brushstroke in this and the textures???? And I mean I am a person who just loves the little things the little details you know (I guess it is apparent by my work) and there is so much to look at that is so so lovely. Na be so for real right now this is just amazing the more I look the more I can discover it just looks so traditional painting from a museum I adore adore adore the vibes and the composition and the way you added the venus fly traps and other flowers the hints of blue in the shading contrast so nicely with the gold and warm grey tones of the fur. The fact that my boy does not even have proper reference sheet and you nailed him so well I am just in awe if you can’t tell I have no idea how long I’ve been staring at it before I started to type but also know since I came back online and saw you posted this I was like looking at it often when I needed a break from my hectic stuff and it brought me so much peace and joy and it will continue to do so imma really need to print this one out for my wall so I can just look at it every day when I head into my workroom ahhhhhhh how do I even deserve something so grand???? I was just as breathless with excitement and joy back then, seeing that you had drawn my girl and that she physically exists and shines in your home. It's nice to know that you liked those brushstrokes and find my paintings similar to traditional art. I haven't used this texture trick very often, but the fact that you and others liked it motivates me to experiment with it more.
Ah, and what made me the happiest is that you generally liked how I drew your boy. I was constantly afraid of mixing up the colors of the fingers and the rings :D And I also a little bit struggled with the tattoo fragment on the forearm that I saw in one of your paintings, while I didn't find that in his file on TH (or I just blind (also, (also can't find time to fill out a profile yet due to withdrawal >_>, but after I finished the illustrations, I got a little looser) so I decided not to include it. As for the hair, I should be the one thanking you. I find this hairstyle fascinating and lovely, it suits him perfectly. Anyway, I'm glad you liked it, and it was a real pleasure working on him <3
