So I'm just sitting around one day, minding my own business, when life sneaks up behind me and decks me in the back of the head and hits me with inspiration. (That or a sack of bricks, the jury is still out on that one)

I know it doesn't feel like long ago when I redesigned Marsh, but I suddenly had the inspiration and motivation to DO IT AGAIN.
I mostly wanted to redo the face and colors. I gave him more traditional pedipalps for face-hand wiggling. And the idea of a 'blood red widow' stuck with me. Since Caroline and Vera are both considered 'White Widows', I thought he could be regarded as a 'Blood Widow' by giving Marsh a darker red color scheme. And after years of doing heart motifs, I decided to give him a more traditional Latrodectus marking on his abdomen (yes I'm still taking some liberties with actual gender differences in widow spiders, it's my character so nyah). I also thought giving him a kind of 'M' mark on his chest would be a little in-canon reason why Vera named him Marshall in the first place.

So yeah, new look! Expect more art of this in the future. And yes, Caroline will get a similar makeover, once I settle on a color scheme.
