They really a cool archetype and it's a shame they rarely get used as their inclusion usually dictates the tone and often just used as enemies.

True, though there's occasions where they got neutral role, like how you can purchase cures from these fine doctors in Assassin's Creed Brotherhood... But since historical too, hearing them recommending lead-related curatives makes me step back a bit XD Oh and you can have them as party members in Darkest Dungeon too. :) And depends how you want to play it out in Bloodborne you basically could be "Hunter Doctor?" It's your character therefore you make the backstory :D
