Trying to stay in the habit of posting semi regularly, but I'm also very easily distracted by whatever stray thought hits me while doodling, AND, I'm still a million times slower than Is healthy for supporting those first two goals.
So here is some of the latest obsession that I've at least cleaned up enough. Far longer ago than I realized before I checked the reference,
sepisnake drew out these hybrid shark/fox merfolk that I always thought were really cute. Way back when Sepi was
evilkitsune71290. So I pulled up and reproduced https://www.furaffinity.net/view/16131333/ using my typical foxtaur coloring. Because I do think of mers with well established pectoral fins like that as kind of sharktaurs. Then I'm off and drawing more and more and more of them, and trying to break in a new linearting pen setting.

I always loved Sepi's Shoxes [and seeing art of them by others, when the person who adopted the original got art from various artists!] <3
It's particularly pleasant to witness you shifting yourself into this new shape, because it's a super cute one, and represents such a joyous merging of two of my favourite artists - a merging of your art and one of Sepi's concepts, I mean! :D
I feel like you absolutely captured the same vibrant energy of these seaworthy mischief-makers. :}===<

*First a fin, then the rest of the bloated shox surfaces. Tossing aside and empty and torn swimsuit.*
I think my shark side found a flaw with her logic. *A little motion in his rounded underside and a gurgle are the last that's seen of the sheep as he takes her down into the depths for a long digestion.*
