Back when Tomi and Lili used to adventure together, they had a habit of wandering away from the rest of the group to have their own little adventures (not a euphemism.) One of these was coming across a group of ne'er-do-wells harassing a family of goblins. Tomi immediately jumped the guys, despite knowing they outnumbered him and were near his own level. He won, obviously, but they left their marks. (Lili wanted to help, but he told her to stay out of it. Also, she was masquerading as a regular citizen at the time, and revealing her combat training would have blown her cover to smithereens.)
