The hunt on W.O.L.F. art p3 | SCHOOL ASSIGNMENT
Assignment: Create a 12-page picture book featuring an original story. Design a leading anthropomorphic character and illustrate all panels in high quality, adhering to the provided guidelines.
I was immediately motivated when I heard the details of this assignment. As someone already familiar with creating furry art— thanks to my personal projects alongside my job and schoolwork—I knew this would be right up my alley. Once I designed Logan and finalized his look, it became clear where he belonged. You see, W.O.L.F. was first created back in 2020 as a fun side project during a Discord call. Over time, he evolved into a fully fleshed-out character with a defined personality. Of course, he was always the villain—right from the start. Back then, an old friend of mine had created the hero to oppose him, and together we built a cast of characters. Unfortunately, that collaboration didn’t last; my friend and I drifted apart, and contact eventually faded. But I never abandoned W.O.L.F. He remained a beloved character among my circle of friends and to me personally. So when Logan came to life for this assignment—this badass mercenary agent—it clicked immediately. I’d finally found the perfect hero to face off against W.O.L.F. From there, this project became a hyper-focused labor of love. It’s by far the only assignment I’ve completed that feels both portfolio-worthy and personally significant. I’m genuinely grateful for this project. It’s allowed me to expand W.O.L.F. 's story and explore its deeper lore, potentially paving the way for a larger narrative. This book serves as the test dummy for something much bigger—a personal project transformed into a school assignment, and now back into something that feels truly my own.
