The Story is Nearing it's end, One Last Growth spurt

As the two titans marveled at their ever increasing size, the reactions were very difference. Dusk was still curious on how big they would eventually get, but it seemed like the gravity of the situation was hitting Thorn Heart. Watching the Earth, their home and everything they had ever known, float before him, no bigger than a basketball, he started to feel tightness in his chest.
"It's...so small... and... "he whispered as he leaned closer to observe Earth.
"...we did this..." he says solemnly, as he observes the ravaged crust of Earth, damaged by their growth. Before, it had just felt like harmless fun. But now... the reality of it all begun to take him in.
Dusk looked at his friend. He didn't want to let Thorn Heart fall into despair and panic. If he did, Dusk had no doubt that it'd affect him too. They had come too far. It was too late to regret now.
Looking around him, Dusk reached forward and grabbed the Moon into his hand. Earth's satellite was no bigger than a baseball in his grasp, and the moon cracked under the pressure of his massive fingers. Not thinking about the moon's condition, Dusk turned to Thorn Heart and raised the moon above his head.
"Hey, how about a lil ball game with our dear moon, while we still can?" He shouted cheerfully.
Thorn Heart turned to look at Dusk with a puzzled expression. He could not understand how his friend could be so calm and happy about this all. But seeing Dusk's eager smile, he couldn't help but to smile himself too. Dusk was right. They were here now. Might as well keep having fun.
"Just a minute~" Thorn replied. Then, as gently as he could, he pushed what remained of Earth aside so it wouldn't be caught in the action.
"Okay.. here comes!" Dusk yelled as he threw the moon towards Thorn Heart."
