I came up with my own version of Balto's parents a long time ago. The black-gray handsome wolf is his father Baree, and the brown-red husky is his mother Nova. The story of how they met and fell in love was quite tragic, because Balto was raised by the wolf pack in which his father once lived.

Baree is a typical introvert, he doesn't trust anyone and doesn't let anyone get close. Why didn't he live in a pack anymore? The pack didn't accept him because of his color. According to legends, black wolves bring bad luck. It so happened that he met a girl who loved him as a pet, so he began to live with her and protect her.

Nova was an ordinary sled dog, but one day she met Baree and fell in love. Bari didn't accept her feelings for a long time because they belonged to two different worlds, but the husky convinced him that she didn't care what others thought of her (spoiler: Steele is the same age as Nova and was in love with her, but Nova wasn't interested in him, which hurt his male ego because she preferred a wolf, so that's why he hated Balto).
