I can't tell you how much I jizzed myself finding out that Gaia would make a thing so...ME! When it first came out, I made it FIRST PRIORITY to achieve! I drew her in these two poses.
She's made of chocolate and icecream, you see.

Well its really easy. Its going through the regular method of starting by buying some MC. Wait a month, then sell it for as high as you can. You build up more gold and buy more expensive items. However, if you make 3 mil within said month, with an account thats not that old, ya get banned apparently.
I just never learned to be patient.

IKR?
Eventually I figured out that the entire system is automated! Non of the mods check it, they just let it work. It works off the variables of money received in time to flag the account.
Well over 20 mil. in gold and even more than that in rare items have been locked into these banned accounts

Well, it goes to the saying "If its not broke, don't fix it."
However, they do not recognize if something IS broken.
You can bring this up with any of the mods, most will not know about the system unless its someone higher up, but even then, they say its working good, or they are making improvements and promise results soon. When in all actuality, all of their work is going towards how they can gain more advertisers, more people to buy from them, and the users are last in line for anything.
For example, the marketplace has had no updates aside from the UI. Same goes for Trading. The games section never had any updates until they decided to make a bad MMO with a story that makes less sense every update (If and when they happen) because they figured out free MMO games make a lot of money thanks to cash shops, which Gaia has been thanks to cutting corners on the game. Then the entire site's UI update made everything act and feel like Facebook, conveniently a month before the Social Network was going to theaters, and Gaia made a lot of ground on Facebook itself.
The next thing is the advertising. Its impossible to enter the website without some form of advertisement, and it all comes in all sorts of packages. Like there will be a side box that if you click the link, you'll get 100 gold for watching a bad add, or going to a website. Next teir is watching the trailer you are annoyed with seeing on TV for a bad quality item. And the last tier, and the most expensive (Because it actually requires some talent from the Gaia staff) is to make a broken set with poorly written quests/game guides, which all together feels uncomfortable, and more tedious to click on poorly converted to pixel images from screenshots of commercials and what not (No seriously, all they do is convert an image from a commercial to pixels through a program, which only takes 10 minutes total.) and all for a few poorly made items.
Then theres everything else, left to the players. Bad site gateways come up a lot, reporting someone for botting will almost guarantee them to be banned since it goes through the system and checks for flags, or goes off a number of reports (Which do not vary from player to player, one person could make the report 10 times [As I tested]). Then theres the P.M system which desperately needs to be fixed, but thanks to banner adds, they won't fix it because it causes you to constantly refresh to give fast responses to messages (Mainly due to the I.M system is really broken, only implemented after Facebook's I.M system).
The list goes on for each catagory, but its getting way tl;dr.
Main point is, they wont fix a system unless its broken for them.
