A Concept sketch of Storm Nobleheart, based on his story about himself turning into a Hydra (and roleplay based upon such). This is his intermediate form when he only has three heads before going onto five heads and then onto seven. Trying something new with scales and inking techniques.

That's a good looking hydra. But 7 heads? That's going to start looking a little crowded unless their necks get longer.

Thats why I'm starting at three, then go onto five, and lastly onto seven .. perhaps.. I think that's even beyond me to draw!

very nicely done. I know I got my own hydra type character, but prefer to keep the number of heads at 3 to cut down on the confusion! =D

A very nice intermediate form too. ^^ Hydra's can be so very interesting, 'specially when they're more big n' dragon'ish, or dinosaur like. I wonder if all the heads have their own personality. ^^
