We are so cool you wish you could be us. Me and navaut on the Iowa State Campus for a May furmeet. I already terribly miss the Iowa furs because there are pretty much no furs here in North Dakota.

Haha try North Dakota! It was even worse than Iowa!! But after two terrible places, I moved to Washington where there seem to be quite a few :3

nbowa does meet ups in Cedar Rapids from time to time although I never made it out to meet him and I know the Ames furs gather up on occasion so you're not completely bereft of local furs. You just gotta look for em :D
