I do have a confession to make:

I haven’t flown long-haul in economy for almost 14 years. I have flown long-haul, yes, multiple times, but every time has been in business class or first class, and I am very grateful that I have the opportunity to use points to do so. It is a hobby which is winding down, however, because of things going on and things I want to do in my personal life, and I am hoping I can at least continue this in a minimized state.

So even if the picture is a bit inaccurate since flying long-haul in business or first class meant being able to use the lounge and spending my flight before that there instead of sitting on the floor at the gate, I couldn’t help but pass up an aviation-themed YCH. Just the anticipation to get on board, settle in, fly to a new destination whether for leisure or work or just to get home. In the background is a British Airways Boeing 747-400 (I wish I could recall why I chose this particular airplane in this livery).

Now, I will also admit that I have flown British Airways in First Class, but it was on a Boeing 787-9, and even though there are a few shortfalls in terms of the IFE, internet, and bedding, the service on that flight was spectacular.
