temp upload untill I've caught up on the story.
Lenna is called to battle as the Empire attempts to retake Goudsbergen, Lionel has already been signed to the reserve forces to defend the city while the main force will face the empire in the field. Yenene has gone to see Lenna off at the city gates, naturally concerned about her daughter despite Lenna being a seasoned adventurer by now, though she is facing what remains of the empire's elite forces and commanders now instead of bandits and monsters.

Well Yenene is still haunted by their escape when the empire first attacked the city and now Lionel and Lenna face danger again while she herself is feeling helpless but she has to look after the twins right now. Lenna is assuring her mother she's not gonna let the empire to come anywhere near the city, though she is hiding her own fear well even with her fighting experience as an adventurer as this is her first time on a battlefield which is a lot different from fighting bandits or clearing a dungeon of monsters. She does end up keeping her word though and the empire won't come within a bow shot of the city, but I'll save something for when I actually catch up, I still have to get back to finishing the story about their escape first so I don't go completely out of order.
I'm glad my world inspires something in others then, i've been sitting on these ideas for decades and hero forge finally allowed me speed up the process, even if I am still nowhere near finished and not everything being possible to depict with hero forge due to limitations of it. Still I hope to some day at least see it all come to life as a tabletop game and people creatign their own stories and adventures in it. =)
Fair enough
I've been working on my setting for years but also have been sort of on and off. For me the issue is that I can't always just force out new lore. Instead I have to wait till I get inspiration that fuels my drive to create new lore. Which seeing the work of others tends to help with :3
