I haven't painted more complex backgrounds traditionally for a very long time. This painting was a refreshing change from the digital medium and also a very good practise. The Highlands are by far one of the most inspiring places on earth for me and I will soon be able to see them in real again. :)
The painting is 14" x 20"
Watercolours on hot pressed sturdy paper.

you and Foxamoore seem to make, by far, the best collab on FA, or SF, or any other Fandom and non-Fandom sight I have ever been on.
The picture here really shows vastness, with the smaller figure off to the side, dwarfed by the looming mountains, provides such beautiful emphasis.
Great work here, and you make me want to go to Scotland so bad...
