no haha He has power of electricity through static/heat, but because his electricity is a direct result of his high concentrated Pyroglytheum-based power (A mutagen, https://theglytheumstate.net/lore.p.....e=Pyroglytheum ), it gives off a strong, red color. Additionally, his blade allows him to focus a lot of his power to channel and amplify it, having it trail down the blade.
