Bunnie Rabbot Quick Sketch
I used to LOVE this show and Bunny was/is my favorite character from that series. For those who are unfamiliar with this character, she's from the Sonic the Hedgehog series, specifically the animated show that came on Saturday mornings (Sonic SatAM) although I know she was also in the comics (I actually have the one where they show how she was partially roboticized). She was a rabbit character that was partially roboticized, but she NEVER lost all of herself to the machine half that nearly took her over. She was adorable and so loyal and so strong of heart and character and SOOOOO Country! I just 'ed this character!

I loved that series too! Bunnie was one of my own favorites as well. Her cybernetic enhancements made her interesting of course, but she was also just dang enjoyable for her personality. Cute as a button (particularly the purple eyeshaddow) and loooved her accent, Sugah!
Though they were rare, I liked the moments where she used her martial arts skills. If I recall correctly there's a good moment in "Super Sonic" where she knocks two swatbotts aside with kicks and a backflip.
Damn shame that series was cancelled, and writer Ben Burst died last year too.

I completely agree! The tech was cool, but she was so much more than that! Even if you removed all the gears, she would have been a standout character for me. Gotta love the Country girls! ...and yeah, she knew martial arts! I think the episode you mentioned was the one where she tried to teach a few moves to Antoine.
It was a shame when it was cancelled. With all the shows that are getting "revivals" as of late, I wish they would revive that series. NOT the series with Amy, Cheese, etc. (although, I do love Knuckles and Rouge).

Back home now (I was on the iPhone earlier and not able to check the episodes until now). The scene I had in mind was indeed in "Super Sonic" almost at the end of the episode. Robotnik had Sally and Bunnie brainwashed and teleported into his lab using a powerful crystal computer stolen from the sorceror Lazar. Lazar had mistaken Sonic for a thief and taken away Sonic's speed until the crystal was returned. Sonic managed to get the crystal, UN-brainwash Sally & Bunnie but then they were caught in a firefight with some swatbotts, and Sonic still didn't have his speed back. Then Bunnie issues one of her beautiful lines "Can I make a little 'ol suggestion? Let's get the hip-hop outta here!" Which is exactly what she does - somersault, impact on swatbott #1's chest, then backflip and right leg kick to swatbott #2.
The episode where Antoine asked Bunnie to teach him "how do you say... Marshmallow arts?" was appropriately titled "Fed up with Antoine," which is exactly what Bunnie became after his clumsiness exhausted her patience. Antione: "I am doing good, no?" Bunnie: "You're doing good - NO! Antoine, I've had it!" However it seems that her efforts were not entirely wasted, as he eventually used one of the moves to save Sonic himself from being ambushed by a canabalistic hyena (good for him; I've no love for hyenas!)

Oh hell yeah! She delivered some of the best lines in the whole show.
Eps "Sonic & Sally" - Bunnie: "[Cough][Cough] Aw... don't you just love awl this fresh ay'er!" (Air). Later Antione accidentally removes her robotic arm, to which she replies "Oh mah stars... I'm jus' fallin' apart." Later still... "So then mah doggone arm just fell off. Ah wuz so humiliated that I just about popped ah bolt."
Eps "Sonic Racer" - Antoine: "Phew. All this peace and quiet makes me sweating." Bunnie: "Everything makes you sweating Antione," (pulls Antione's cheek fur) "but you're steel a leetle muffin'!" (Still a little muffin).
My favourite line of hers has got to be in "The Void" where Bunnie sees the palace made of crystals. "Yup! This is where ah want mah weddin'!"
If you ever feel like drawing her performing one of her cool kung fu moves please let me know so that I can adore! (PS - don't forget the purple eyeshadow :D)
