Hax clearly said it was a he in the comic, so this one's male. That's probably because everyone does female salazzles for the most part, and very rarely any male ones. And that's pretty much the idea. The salazzle fights dirty. Of course, in the first page, he waited until they left the ring to poison the Dragonite

But yeah: An official male Salazzle doesn't exist, because in the lore all male Salandits give all the food and everything to the female Salandits. Which makes it that all the male Salandits are unable to evolve because they do not have the nutrition in their bodies nor the energy to do so. But than again: Doesn't stop the furry fandom from making fat male Salandits and male Salazzles. lol

But gosh... I really hope that they will be disqualified and banned from Sumo forever. That male Salazzle doesn't belong in the sport. >=(
