"Risk Takers" is a rather complex setting, and this is one of the reasons why it's still difficult for me to tell seriously about it.

One of the important details of this world is the so-called energy (or "magnetority" (?) - "магнеторность" ). Probably, in our world it would be called magic, but I'm not sure that this word correctly conveys the essence of the phenomenon.

In the world of "Risk Takers", all living creatures, including humans, are endowed with energy. But most people have balanced energy, while in others it's too strong, one might say, abnormal. And this excess, this abnormality gives them the ability to influence objects and phenomena around them and themselves in the most bizarre, amazing and often frightening ways.

It was energy, attempts to study it and use it not always for the best purposes that led this world to collapse. This is one of those forces that mankind takes to achieve incredible things, but more often for destruction, not for creation.


This was a short introduction that will help you understand what exactly I'm showing here. We're not just seeing a bird, and not just a monstrous bird, but a man who was born with abnormal energy and is able to take on a feral form. His name is Francis, and people like him are called metamorphs. He's a descendant of a clan where this ability is inherited, and in his eyes it's something like a ancestral curse, although some would consider it a gift.
