A red fox is excited to be the first at a mall's grand opening. A sample stall gives her a stick of gum, and as she chews it while exploring the store it makes her feel lighter than air—literally!

This was a commission for  masterotenko. It's short and sweet compared to most of my writing lately and features a character created for the story itself. Some of you might recognize a reference to a shoe store I wrote for a different story. If not: well, now you're aware of the reference :3
