Flash ate a file containing several scenes from my latest animated short, effectively killing my motivation to work on it. Instead I did this painting out of rage at Flash. I figured I might get back into this kinda thing, I used to paint alot, and draw lots of demons and creatures. The instant (or rather, more instant than animation) gratification is nice, so this might be the nature of my art for awhile. If anything it means more frequent posting. Enjoy

I doubt anybody is going to complain about you doing more paintings. You do it well, and you do it so infrequently it's easy to forget that you paint at all, but there it is. The lighting is always very meticulous, and your thumbnails tend to look like 3d objects. The texture work on that axe is particularly nice.
