A bit of experimenting with depicting my Kyokka creatures with less typical perspectives, nothing too serious, but liked enough the outcome to post.

They are most certainly Kyokkas. A Cyat wouldn't have the gut capacity for such a meal like the bottom one had!

The Kyokka, bred by the Hrokor who remained preferring tribal and at best feudal societies, among many roles, use them for hunting. If they chance upon larger prey, sometimes it is useful to let the Kyokka gorge to make use of the meat. He then wouldn't need to be fed for a while.

These creatures by themselves aren't really capable to hunt having been bred specifically to be intelligent companions, they however are able to track, herd, run down and grapple prey to assist the Hrokor.
