Lately I've been wanting to change my means of wrapping gifts. Rather than using gift wrap, I want to switch over to fabric. Taking after to Japanese furoshiki, I wrapped this gift with a spare black scarf; bound it with rope, knotting it to imitate a Chinese knot; and decorated it with a posie of flowers from my garden. Free of silly adhesives and reusable, I find this has a lot more charm to it. Hopefully I'll be able to continue with this style, and if not... well, I can always wrap it in brown paper: everyone likes brown-paper packages :)
