During the great torrent that greyed out all of Neopia Central, many were caught in its wake. While rendering aid to those fleeing the flood (as well as the void entities drawn to the area), Noodles suffered a glancing hit from a splash of the grey paint. Fortunately, due to her werelupe nature slowing the progress of the graying down, it gave Daniel time to syphon most of the grey out of her (having since last year begun learning the practice of Pictomancy) and halt the progress fully.
While Noodles was fine physically, she still felt drained and apathetic and felt little motivation to do anything. But Noodles also had the love and support of her family, and because of a random comment about her new grey streaks could work well with a goth look, Noodles decided to act on that comment.
As it turned out, the goth look really did work well, and having gone through with the suggestion, she certainly started to feel a lot better and more like her old self (the coffee made by her Uncle Eddy also helped improve her mood).
With the current Neopets plot ongoing (and people commenting that Noodles relay rocks the Goth looks), I decided to give Noodles a new look for the new year.
Edit 07/06/25: Added the Gray detail to the tip of Noodles' tail.
