Like that, the venom would just be painful and partially blinding. Of course, that is enough for him to get closer to deliver a bite, where it would be a mix of (slow acting) cytotoxin and (much faster) neurotoxin. So, after a bite, the venom would paralyze you at first, but if you somehow managed to get away from him still, the cytotoxin would end up taking you out anyway. If you want to try milking him for his venom to develop and anti-venom... I want to watch that attempt. :)

In other words... don't get bitten. It doesn't end well.

I don't really see him as a constrictor per se. He can coil around dinner, but so can most venomous snakes. He may be able to hold someone in place in his coils, but he's not really going to use that to kill someone as a constrictor would.
