It's a hippo pilot guy.

It took me a really long time to draw that plane, only to make it blurry and crop a bunch of it out.

Drew this over Memorial Day weekend while living in a hotel in Yuma, Arizona in 2011. I got a blood clot in my right leg while coloring this and had to be admitted to a hospital for 3 days - true story!

Heh, I have that syndrome with backgrounds occasionally. The important lesson is to make sure you know what you're going to draw, and plan accordingly.

But the effect is very impressive. Well done!
