Lulu is Zozo's twin sister, a now-estranged and denounced member of the Phox Clan, who was once assumed to be the new Master of Darkness, but Michael has taken that role from her.

Lulu herself is a thoroughly unpleasant person. Spiteful, selfish, and just generally mean to everyone she meets for no clear reason, ever since she was a little Fennekin. She would bully, bite and pull the hair of her sister Zozo, and she only got worse the older she got. She would try and pin the blame on her family, accusing them of giving Zozo special treatment and picking on her. Nobody was buying it, though. Especially not when Zozo herself was still trying to be nice to Lulu, despite her sister's rejection and cruelty.

Zozo never gave up on her, even when the rest of the family sent her packing, on the grounds that she was irresponsible, dangerous and far too cruel to be trusted with any role in the clan, let alone her own wand. But even Zozo had her limit, and that came not long after Michael was born. As a meek, timid little Zorua, barely 5 years old, Lulu looked down upon Michael, and called her a "pathetic, sorry excuse for a Zorua". Michael, of course, cried, and Zozo finally demanded Lulu never show her face around her again.

Nowadays, Lulu still hasn't changed. She still causes trouble anywhere she goes, still insists that her family treat her unfairly, even though they'd all be willing to help her get better if she just came and apologised, and STILL thinks she's the rightful Master of Darkness, not Michael. Though, strangely, while she does hurl some rude remarks here and there, she rarely does anything to Michael herself... it may be that even someone as selfish as Lulu felt remorse for picking on a timid little kit like that...
