nice shading on the fur. allso love the angle of the back foot. all the hands/feet are drawn nicly. i have to much truble with them my self.
i think the head of the neck looks a liitle out of preporshen to the body.
the BG is grate and that sorcal works so well with the pose. nice work.

now i wont to see how you can do with soming cute.

And the sergal anatomy is weird and varied, I was always at ends with what length and size i should make everything o.o I ended up cutting it up in photoshop and making the whole sergal longer and leaner.

It's lucky I kept that background then. It was a originally a quick little filler until I figured out what I wanted to do with the background... but everyone liked it, so i left it that way. X3

I like how it gives an impression like those Japanese paintings, i forget what the style is, but it reminds me very much of those. Quite nice.

I'm no fan of sergals (i like cute!) but this is a great pic, definitely one of your best in my opinion. The detail is interesting without being overwhelming, the colours are quite natural, and the background supports it well without becoming too much of a feature in its own right. I think there is something sliiightly funky about proportion, but rather than the head/neck being too small, i think the nearest hind leg is a touch on the large side giving a bit of a disorienting foreshortening effect.

I showed you a drawing of cute, cuddley sergals and you didn't like them either D: *hugs your head*

And yus. I had to keep cutting back on the fur details in this because it was getting cluttered reeeally easily x.x

As I said to Flix, the proportions for the sergals were a bit odd to narrow down because of all the different versions. o'o It's quite possible that the arms need enlargement instead of shrinking the back leg. It looks like they'd be a bit short if it was standing up. (The hind leg was actually bigger in the sketch. Had to shrink it down quite a bit c.c;;)

Ok i secretly d'awwed at the cuddly cute sergals but had to keep my anti-sergal reputation intact >.>

I'm not sure about the arm enlargement tho... that probably would then have the effect of making the head look too small. If you cover up the back leg everything looks really well proportioned. If you cover up the front legs and imagine that they are as large as the back leg then the head starts looking small. In any case, I think you did really well with this picture and it's the only nitpick I can make :3 *hugs your head*
