The last sentient thought came a long time ago.
Now there's naught but a rhythm. Gulp, chew, swallow, gulp. Such a creature- the Living Lair, couldn't understand time, engulfed in the sea of itself, and, the euphoria of its' carnal, epic degradation.
Such a state is never reserved for the free of will. Powerful Daemons create such fleshly temples of milk and life essence to nurture their power, greedy for the corpulent breast-borne elixir that permits their evolution and potency. The Living Lair cannot and never will move, yet it experiences thousands of things as the living hoard of a Daemon. A magnet for cursed items, and a receptacle for all mortal food the daemon amasses. It is nurtured, cared for, grown, as the Living Lair is arguably one of the most influential things a Daemon can possess for its own growth.
To be one, is to be stripped of the sentience gifted unto Humanity. From the first curse to feast, all have fallen in short time, manipulative possession amplifying sensation. Now, dozens of years later, it exists to feed, to grow, and to raise the Daemon and its' spawn in the hierarchy of Halcyon.
A Living Lair is a well and true treasure, so rare, that they are locked away in the depths of Halcyon to never see true light again lest they be discovered and contested. Yet there is no regret, no yearning for freedom.
A Living Lair is incapable of such thoughts.

Attack of the blob! Got the inspiration from the awesome SoftestCore on dA and their recent blob art and wanted to incorporate them into Halcyon as I'd drawn big, but not /this/ big yet. Came out incredible!
As always, commissions are just $12USD. For that price you can get your ideas brought to life, or, if you fancy Halcyon lore, make an OC in the Universe or potentially incorporate your own pre-existing one! Like my 'Bad End' art, it's possible for OCs to get the Living Lair experience! These would get their own folder and place in the Universe. I think it would be awesome :)
