You did BEAUTIFULLY on this! The shading and lighting is well done and the forest makes me want to just stretch my legs and hike for hours! The only thing I can see being added would be paw prints on the trail to give more of an impression that they were walking on the dirt path, but that is such a minor design decision that it doesn't really much matter. Good job over all! :)
I'm sorry that you got hurt, but at least you know that there are people there for you to help pick up the pieces left behind. I'm glad you are feeling better now. *hugs*
