Her story is going to be so hard to explain because we never saw her develop this n the show. She was only made to sell toys like her mother.

Princess Flurry Heart will become the Future empress of the crystal empire. When she was born her powers were too strong and unstable,so she went under her aunt twilight’s wing to learn how to control her magic. The rest of her magic was sealed until she was older.she became a warrior just like her father and trained with the crystal guards when she was old enough.she earned her crutie mark by protecting the crystal empire with the crystal heart. This caused her to end up unlocking her the rest of her magic. She ascended due to her good deeds and became really powerful. She’s still vary reckless but deeply cares for her family and empire.She too is deeply connected to the heart like her mother is.But she’s getting most her powers from the power of family.

She’s already ascended so she’ll be crowned empress and have her coronation when her mother decides to step down. but Cadence will still stay to advise her only daughter. Her family worries about her a lot but she’s slowly becoming a great empress.

The path of Ascension varies from creature to creature .When she ascends she’s not gifted a horn,she’s still remains a Pegasus, but she does gain Alicorn level power. She only gets a horn somewhat when she gets a power boost from the crystal heart. When she gets that boost a transparent magical crystal horn manifest from the top of her head and disappears when her power is drained.



Note: Flurry heart and twilight don’t become Alicorn s in this AU just like Lauren Faust intended. any creature is capable of magic and that having a horn merely means that you'd have an easier time learning it.Flurry Heart is a crystal pony,which makes her the next mother of the crystal ponies.Flurry heart crystal form is inspired by the twinkle eyed ponies from gen 1
