Name: Opal
She/Her
Hatterene
Height: 6’ 8”/203.2 cm
Weight: 11.2 lbs/5.08 kg
Age: Unknown (Estimated to be her late 50s but she won’t say)
Pansexual
Background: Not much is known about Opal’s past, as she’s secretive about most aspects of her life beyond what she’s willing to admit to Evvy and his friends.
When they first met, he’d found her living out in the woods in a cabin she built herself. According to her she’d been living there for years by herself, but once a week she’s known to venture into the farmer’s market on the edge of town to buy food and gardening equipment. She also occasionally stops by the local library to borrow books, but these visits are so rare and fleeting she generally goes unnoticed, even by the regular vendors and employees.
Opal has a few traits that set her apart from other Hatterene. Typically they prefer to use their tentacle to complete day-to-day tasks or simply as a way to direct their psychic energy, but she prefers to create ethereal glove-like hands instead, only using her own claw as an extra hand for tougher jobs. This gives her both a formal appearance and makes her appear as a gardener, which is fitting as she considers herself a caretaker of her neck of the woods.
Her personality tends to surprise people, as she’s more outgoing and social than one may think, given she spends most of her time alone. She’s friendly with her greetings on the occasions she talks to people, is more than willing to open her home to visitors or someone in need, and she carries herself with a warm, nurturing demeanor. Usually, one can gauge her current emotions using the emotes she creates with her tentacle. She’s also a good conversationalist for the most part, but her mood can shift back and forth during a discussion, usually to the surprise of others. In some instances she’s fairly quiet and reserved before suddenly becoming more enthusiastic and giggly.
As easy as it is for others to view her as a lone witch of the forest, many will say she’s actually very sweet. But that’s just what she shows on the surface. On the inside…?

It took a bit longer than expected, but I've finally got a character of my own to add to my gallery! Opal is the first what I'm hoping to be several new characters longside the others I've commissioned and adopted. I hope you all enjoy her!
