I am not supposed to be here.

This jungle I woke up in, it is wrong. Strange beasts with screaming souls and alien gods of no relevance to me. I'm not from here. Where am I from? I don't remember. I can't remember. Something is missing.

What did I do? Why am I here? How am I here? I cannot answer these. Let me narrow things down one by one. Let me start with the core issue. Who am I?

I am a dragon, that much is certain. My blood is magma, my body is slate, my sinew is amethyst. I possess magic, and that magic manipulates thought. Knowledge? The fabric of minds? Not sure.

The noosphere. A word that flashes in my head whenever I think of my magic. A realm of thought inbetween? A layer of consciousness that links worlds? Not certain, will have to study this more. I probably knew this before.

All I have with me from my arrival is a note. A design. A structure? A sigil? A runic circle? What is its purpose? What will I have to do to make it work? What will it cost me? This world I ended up in?

Irrelevant. I will just have to do things step by step. I will remember. And if not, I will learn again. No cost is too great.
