So whats this project about again? Why canines in particular?

The 999 series is training for me. I try and better myself after each drawing and, to try and make it harder, I have to try and draw in more detail every time. It's also preparing myself for drawing myself, because... v.=.v I can't draw myself as a Werewolf but canines are the foundations of getting into drawing antho's.

You don't have to draw what you don't want to, but the key to becoming a better artist is through practicing through what inspires you. If you want to get good at drawing canines in particular, might I suggest working off of real life reference, and slowly working in characterizing exaggeration? Is there a particular style you want to lean towards becoming adept at? From personal experience the key to becoming a well rounded artist is to draw, well... well rounded art. Aye, I'm gonna have to draw some more real life Wolfs, my Computer Animation course covers that side and I don't want to sound cocky but if you saw some of my non furry artwork. I'm actually... quite good, I'm number 3 in my class which is a huge honor for me but I'm aiming to be number one so I will heavily take your advice. ^.=.^ Yush, it's been forever and I must add you my Dragon friend *snuggles* I'll help you in the best way i can but I fail at giving art critiques back because I'm scared of doing so. I'm supposed to be giving critique to Dray on here but x.=.x I'm upset because I'm like.. shy with telling people what they need to do right when I can't even do it!

On another note: One thing I've been noticing is you're really picking up expressions excellently now. It's really coming along. I find expressions extremely difficult for me.
