Curiosity, a response
You share your touch with one so loved, affection now assured
Those times of peace, tranquility, and loneliness endured
Those segments of a life to share, and wanting to behold
That time together in ones life to watch, as they grow old
Through thoughts of others watching close, to see your happiness
As two forms one and sharing bond bring forth your thoughtfulness
Your curiosity now solved, it’s finally come to pass
Bring forth the youth for you so longed, and never shall trespass
Upon those thoughts and feelings deep, as they have now been strewn
Behind you never looking back your future now in tune
Be well my dear. There is a time for all.

I can only hope this allows hope.

I can only hope this allows hope.
someday i will know children,
and in those days my dreams may change,
melted and melded with happiness;
but i am not the earth that they will know,
with eyes closed as they grow,
nourished by the fruit of our labors.
I will not be the warmth that folds and holds them securely at night,
nor the flesh that bears them till they know light;
I am incapable of carrying such a sacred burden.
I have no arches to offer board or passage,
and no flourishing fruit or fauna to feed them with.
But i will be there. And i will know my children, and they will know love.
and in those days my dreams may change,
melted and melded with happiness;
but i am not the earth that they will know,
with eyes closed as they grow,
nourished by the fruit of our labors.
I will not be the warmth that folds and holds them securely at night,
nor the flesh that bears them till they know light;
I am incapable of carrying such a sacred burden.
I have no arches to offer board or passage,
and no flourishing fruit or fauna to feed them with.
But i will be there. And i will know my children, and they will know love.
