It's not so much that people complain, that was more poking fun at the fact that North American society is so prudish. In France, for example, you can show nipples on a billbord or commercial and the kids turn out alright. :P

Why not? I know in Germany they've censored some American produced stuff (they managed to censor a scene from Guardians of Ga'Hoole, but I am still at a loss as to why and how and what. XD), but I've never heard of anything like that in France. Could be wrong, of course, but from what I've seen they get American movies / video games pretty much as is.

I thought the ban on being able to injure children was the whole EU. I do not have 100% facts to back this up, though, and it could only be Germany and England.

I honestly don't understand the American attitude with sex and violence. Let the kids see people killing people all they want but if they see a nipple or a penis they're ruined for life. I was stationed in Germany for two years and was surprised at the difference between what Germans and Americans found acceptable programming. Germany was a beautiful place. I wish I could have stayed there.

I have Staedtler pigment liners now, ever since my rotring refillable set started leaking like crazy after I took it on a flight. :( But oh well, I'm pretty used to these anyway, same deal as the microns most people use (I heard really bad things about those and their lack of light-fastness though, so I stopped using them).

Yeah I've, sadly, had that same problem with my Rotring pens, on more than one occasion. ;-; So I've been trying to find a nice alternative that wont get leaky when I travel/go to cons.

This is absolutely gorgeous and beyond adorable at the same time! I really love the composition and each of the flightless birds are so expressive! The penguin is absolutely fantastic and I love the inclusion of the dodo. Great textures and attention to detail. I just love the subtle shifts of highlight to shadow. Absolutely lovely!
