That is so sweet...people tend to not think much of other peoples' pets, but..they're not pets...they're friends, confidants, allies in your struggles...they help you go on even when the whole world is shutting you down..

Going through this myself. A cat i've had since 1993 has made her journey to kitty heaven sometime between two and three pm pst yesterday.

Since 1993? Goodness, you must've kept that cat super healthy! :O (Yes, I'm late to the party, but still.)

she was, until she got sick. She lived almost a full human year, or maybe a little longer than.

That's a pretty amazing lifespan for a kitty, though! Sad she passed away, though. It's never easy losing a pet.

She's the only one we've had who's lived that long. After figuring in the numerical translation, seven years, she was older than the queen of england who made it to 101 years.

iv had to go thought this three times it aways very painfull to let go of a friend and beloved pet but thay will live on in your hart and mind forever and are in a better place now watching over us a little hugs her super tightly

It's the least I can do for such a good friend. It's times like this you need something to make ya smile. I am sorry for your loss, and I hope this years "anniversary" is easier then the one before. :(

Here, I'm going to share this for you and everyone who's lost a companion in their journeys, our feral friends. Despite that they're gone from this life, our friends, our pets have gone to a place where all the ailments and ache are gone. They play with other pets, young and lively, time doesn't mean much to them. They play and they wait, waiting for that day that we come to find them and walk that same path. So they're not gone far, they're just waiting for you. I hope your grieving heart heals soon.

oh hun... i'm sorri, i know what it's like to loose a furry friend, i know there will never be anyone who will replace your four-legged companion! just remember he's free and looking down on you and guiding you, and lord knows you'll get to see him one day and when you two are re untied it'll e the happiest day next to the day when you brought him home!
